Like a quest that scans a deep, dark horizon. Or the night spell of hide-and-seek silhouettes tracing a yearn.
To touch the skin of the moon.

About the Author

Raju, alias Raj Arora, is a debut author releasing his first collection of poems.

He is essentially a Mumbaite with neo-Indian sensitivities. His youth was honed by erstwhile Bombay—enthused with patriotic idealism and values imbued by alma mater institutions of the 60s and 70s—St. Xavier’s High School of Dhobi Talao, Jai Hind College and Bombay University’s courses for working executives. His career covered commercial jobs in the advertising and printing industry, including a long innings with India’s legendary print house of Prasad Process and Chandamama.

He now mentors his family business, Printografik—a niche company in global retail packaging and printing.

He is also the founder publisher of RobinAge, a novel newspaper for schoolchildren and an initiative borne in pursuit of cherished ideals of moulding a fairer, more sincere and heartier society, encouraged through children, with their innate joy and natural integrity.

He has continued throughout to unravel and decipher his seeking privately through poetry. Skin of the Moon is a reminiscent collection of experiential and love poems, written over decades, spanning raw youth and the
seasoning of years. They are accompanied by sketches of a gifted young artist, who interprets them with charming spontaneity, along with a recital CD of select pieces by renowned audio voices and English theatre talent.
